The H-D lineup was really lacking for affordable, entry level and commuter machines, and the leadership in Milwaukee set out to fix that with the introduction of the 'Street' family of bikes in model year '14. Consisting of a liquid cooled v-twin powerplant mated to a 6 speed transmission and quiet belt drive, these were HD's first new platform in 12 years and first 'lightweight' machines since '74. When size, weight, price and fuel economy are all factors in your decision the Street 750 should be on your radar as H-D targeted younger, beginning to mid level riders, urban residents and daily commuters. The 750 is the more powerful of the two Street series bikes without adding much weight or cost, so in our opinion a no brainer pick over the 500. This one is in great shape with low miles, and it is very well equipped for one of these with a Memphis Shades detachable fairing, engine guards, Viking hard saddlebags, rear passenger bar w/ luggage rack and a nice sounding SM Street Merchant exhaust. So it looks and sounds sweet, great buy too for one this clean and well equipped at only $4,995.00!
