2022 TRIUMPH TIGER 660 SPORT $6,495

By now most of the major bike manufacturers have figured out that adventure-style motorcycles were more comfortable, practical, and enjoyable over longer distances than just about anything out there....being able to rip along a twisty road with upright ergos, plenty of ground clearance, and good leverage from their wide, one-piece handlebars. Triumph reminds us of those benefits with the Tiger Sport 660, which is billed as an 'Adventure-sport' machine, an entry point and/or stepping stone to the larger and more adventure-ready Tiger models in its lineup. The bike features the still pretty new 660cc inline-triple, first seen in the Trident and that engine is untouched here, and the frame is only new in that it uses a sturdier (and longer) subframe to better accommodate passenger seating and optional luggage attachments. The Trident's under-chassis exhaust and slip & assist clutch are here, but the steering and suspension geometries are different allowing for additional ride height and travel while keeping the sporty handling, and the bodywork and larger 4.5 gallon fuel tank resemble the rest of the Tiger family. This hardly used bike is super clean, serviced (with records on hand) and totally stock, just under 8k miles and in need of nothing but a new rider....you!
