2022 DUCATI Monster 937

Ducati single-handedly created the naked bike class back in 1993 with the launch of the original Monster and that formula has more or less gone unchanged for almost 30 years: a stripped-back, fairingless (aka naked) sport bike with more upright geometry that was focused on street riding more than track performance, and most importantly, fun. The new Monster 937 makes some changes, and it changes for the better. This new machine is lighter than previous versions (an amazingly light 366 lbs) with a bit more grunt and a very usable powerband for real world riding. It also steps up the tech game, with a standard quickshifter, lean sensitive ABS brakes, color TFT display, 3 ride modes, traction control, launch control, LED lighting and USB port. The new frame changed riding ergonomics too with a lower footpeg position, taller handlebars closer to the rider, a narrow chassis and a fairly low seat height for the class (32.3in with an optional lowering kit & low seat that can get it down to 30.5in) making it the most comfortable and widely appealing Monster ever.
